Hunky Grandpas For Life

Since the beginning of time, humanity has seeked ways to elongate their own lifespans and to, even live forever. Immortality is something that all humans inevitably think about during their lives, “aging” is probably the only mechanism that humans have tried to elucidate throughout the history of mankind.” We struggle against aging to escape death, and, ultimately, the unknown of what happens to us after we die. Humans want to be able to live because they’re scared of what comes afterwards; so much so that they have created religion to explain the afterlife. This immortality has always been a fantasy to mankind, but recently, with modern biotechnological medicine “it is possible to alter the process of aging not only at a superficial level but also at a genetic level”. Science is evolving, and people will have to evolve with it, and this may mean losing death. Without death, countries like Russia and Japan which have small birth rates and tiny death rates will experience an almost natural evolution as people stop having kids and instead live forever themselves. Longevity treatments will also start the hunky grandpa revolution (H.G.R) which will take over the world and be absolutely baller.

Researchers from National Geographic traveled the world looking for where people live the longest. Blue zones are the places where people live the longest, “After identifying 5 of the world’s Blue Zones Dan and National Geographic took teams of scientists to each location to identify lifestyle characteristics that might explain longevity. They found that the lifestyles of all Blue Zones residents shared nine specific characteristics. We call these characteristics the Power 9.” After finding the 5 places where people live the longest, scientists try to figure out why these people live so long. We are now building Blue Zones in cities and businesses across the country. To help the world’s citizens live longer, “We are now building Blue Zones in cities and businesses across the country. Our mission – to help people live longer, better lives – is spreading.” Scientists are making this longevity of people available in cities across the US now.

The article The Recipe for Immortality shows humanity’s desire for long-lasting life or even immortality. “The yearning for immortality dates back at least to ancient times” when people began to question the inevitable fate of death. They began to wonder why other organisms lived longer than humans. Now that the world has the technology to increase human life-span, people have taken advantage of their capabilities. People believe “cloning germ cells, then, looks like one possible path to human immortality” because they can use these cells to make human organisms. They can then use these organisms for their organs and keep back-up organs for a person.

The article Aging is Our Enemy; Death is Our Ally, portrays death as a good thing. “Death is needed to clear away the old and leave space for the new”. Although death is a good thing, death does not mean anti-aging technology is a bad thing; “we can accept death yet also seek to live vastly longer, healthier, and happier lives.” Life extension is the delayment of old age and death. Death is used to avoid futile care and high cost cruelty, which is where the subject of Euthanasia comes in; people end their lives with assistance from doctors, which is a controversial subject, because it is assisted suicide. With elongated lives, there would be too many people on the earth, and with too many people on earth, there would not be enough space for everyone to live and not enough resources to support everyone.
